World Youth Day 2011 – Madrid, Spain

Youth of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus is beginning preparations for pilgrimage to respond to our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI invitation to young people to meet him in Madrid, Spain in 2011.  As you know, because of your generous help, we were able to assist youth from our San Damiano Group to attend World Youth Day in Sydney, Australia in 2008.  The fruit of this pilgrimage is the youth that is active in our parish.  We can be proud of their witness and involvement in parish activities.  Good planning is always the key to the success of a dream. 

The San Damiano Group will be working toward earning their World Youth Day deposit/registration fee which is $100.  If you are able to help their dream to come true, you may make a donation by sending your check payable to San Damiano Group, c/o Fr. Marek Stybor, or you may also invite members of our group to help you with your fall cleanup by supporting our leaf raking fund raiser, and contacting Peggy Towsley, at 413-732-6153.
